Parish Giving Scheme

We recently launched our new regular giving system, the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS). The PGS helps us to regulate our giving and Gift Aid contributions. You can sign up to the PGS online here or by telephone on 0333 002 1260. Our parish code is 320632241.

In the past, our giving has fluctuated and the PGS will help us to manage our giving and budget for the future. You can pick up a leaflet about it at the back of church.

Gift Aid for those who it is applicable will be claimed monthly instead of quarterly, therefore giving a much steadier balance to the church finances. The PGS does not cost us anything, it is funded by the Diocese. The PCC have opted for this change and have been the first to set up the scheme for themselves. It is very quick and simple. The PGS does suggest an annual incremental rise in line with the Retail Price Index (RPI), but this is optional and you can choose not to do this.
